A CSR or Certificate Signing Request is the encrypted text that must be generated from the server that which the certificate is going to be used on. It contains the information that will be included in your certificate such as your organization name, common name (domain name), locality, and country. The type of SSL you need really depends on the type of website you have. If you have an E-Commerce website; we definitely recommend an EV SSL Certificate. If your website is for a small or medium-sized business, we recommend at least an OV SSL Certificate. For MS Exchange and unified communication solutions we recommend UCC Certificates.
